Does it increase aggressiveness?
Studies have shown that training in martial arts does not increase
aggressiveness. In fact, your child will be taught from the first lesson
that a true "Shinkyudo Karate ka" never misuses their martial arts skills.
Throughout their training, they will become physically and mentally
conditioned to handle life's stressers in a non-aggressive fashion.
Shinkyudo Karate students are expected to be humble, courteous, and
respectful. The instructors in Shinkyudo Karate will continually develop
and assess your child's self improvement.

Can I take classes with my child?
Yes. What a great way to come together as a family. We have had
many families participate in Shinkyudo Karate.

Do I have to attend tournaments?
No. Tournaments are offered as optional events. Members are invited
to participate to learn, and enjoy these events. However, they are not
required. It is a great chance to meet and become involved with others
who are in the martial arts community.
